Scuba Do Bonaire

STINAPA/Nature Fee

All the water surrounding Bonaire is a protected area, this means you will need to pay a mandatory ‘nature fee’ before you are allowed to enter this Bonaire National Marine Park (BNMP). This fee is being used for multiple purposes like nature conservation and also gives you access to Washington Slagbaai National Park. For more information or purchases, please visit the STINAPA website.

Exemptions: children under 13 and residents from Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, Saba, Sint Eustatius, and Sint Maarten.

Orientation dive

In addition to purchasing the ‘nature fee’, it is also mandatory to do an orientation dive. This is to ensure that divers are well informed about all the rules that apply to diving on Bonaire. The orientation dive is a standard guided dive and will be conducted on our beautiful house reef (Bari). We will do a quick weight check and help you to get your configuration right so you can dive comfortably. The price will be the same as a 1 tank guided dive and it’s also possible to do a second dive afterwards on a different location. It is best to book this in advance.

Waiver

Before you can go into the water with us, we ask you to fill out a waiver for liability. To ensure a smooth check-in, we ask you to fill the waiver before your arrival. This waiver is normally send to your email and only valid for one year. Therefore it is a good idea to fill it out just short before you come to Bonaire.

Also don’t forget to let us know you are an Enriched Air Nitrox diver (under other certifications) if you have this certification.

If you haven’t received any waiver request, please send us a message.

Dive & Drive

If you are planning to do many dives and also need transportation, it might be a good idea to get a (Stay,) Dive & Drive package through our resort Chogogo (see link).

Alternatively we also offer unlimited tank packages and tank cards. There will be lockers available for storing your equipment next to our Dive & Drive setup for easy access also after business hours. Here you will also find additional rinse tanks.

Escape Room

If you like to solve puzzles, you will love our unique Scuba Escape Room. What makes this escape room unique is the fact that we do this partially underwater. The puzzles that you solve above the water will play a crucial part when you continue underwater. Do you have what it takes to stay sharp both underwater and on the surface?

Night Dive/Ostracods

Bonaire is also one of the few places in the world where you can do an Ostracod dive, this is a unique experience that lets you witness a beautiful light show underwater during the night dive. If you would like some more information about this, please let us know.

It is also possible to do a standard night dive, for this we need a minimum of 2 divers. Also check out our PADI Night Dive specialty.
